Pantry Week

As someone who loves to cook, I often get a little over zealous at the supermarket. And so, when you open my cupboards, there is an array of products I never got around to using. Mostly grains, some beans, and canned seafood.

So, in the interest of saving a little money, this week I decided to have pantry week. I allowed myself a small trip to the farmer’s market for fresh produce, but that’s it. I’m not allowed to go “pick something up” from my grocery store (because that always ends up being 5 things). I think it’s good for me to remember not to waste, as well as try and be more creative with cooking and less cookbook-reliant.
